Solid Chinese food that I enjoyed and better than expected for a strip mall restuarant. Prices were reasonable, service was friendly and quick and the portions were generous..my dish (the Sweet and Sour chicken lunch meal) will make two lunches easy. I work within walking distance from the Dragon so I will eat there again I'm sure

Finally somewhere local with great tofu dishes- Great Dragon is right near my house, extremely friendly, quick, and delicious. Easily the best Chinese food in Avondale/Logan Square, and extremely veg-friendly.

Are they permanently closed? Haven't seen them in at least 3 weeks but no signs on windows or on website letting us know if their status. Would hate to have lost a good Chinese place in the neighbourhood

This is THE best Chinese food in Avondale/Logan Square. It's been years since I found a restaurant this good. Many thanks to the owners and cooks for making such delicious dishes!

Recently ordered their General Tso Chicken lunch special- it is so good! The lunch portion is so much food and very affordable. The General Tso sauce is just the best. Not my first order, and definitely wont be the last.

Food was great and super fast. I ordered fried rice and chicken lo mein it was ready in under ten minutes! The portion size is huge! Definitely get your moneys worth. Highly recommend.

Traditional Cantonese like I grew up with. Beef with Broccoli. Beef ver silky flavor ok. Lots of shrimp for sweet and sour. Desperate so shrimp is not soggy. This a quick local strip mall Cantonese restaurant. Food was ready when promised. Only take out. Free egg roll with $20 dollar order and coupon from menu. You can order and grab the coupon when you get there. Egg roll outside crisp but insides were a little mushy. The menu had a lot of variety. In addition to Cantonese food they also have bubble teas, sushi, sashimi, and Tonkotsu Ramen. The parking lot is a little small on this triangular lot. This is a quick good Cantonese neighborhood restaurant.

Checked out this basic looking Chinese place on Milwaukee Avenue. Great Dragon is another strip mall Chinese restaurant. It has the basic stuff at a crummy looking Chinese place like this. A lot of greasy salty items. There's a lack of good vegetarian choices, which is the one real bad thing it seems. Bare bones. It has a pretty basic menu. There's not a whole lot exotic to get it seems. It's about $6 for the cheapest entrees. The only vegetarian choice is the Vegetable Fried Rice. Only one. They don't even have any tofu. Still it wasn't like it was bad. There was flavor and it wasn't as greasy as expected. Get some pretty okay if not good Chinese American cuisine. Its best thing is the cheap prices. This makes up for the lack of choices so it's not like it's terrible.
